Family-Owned Eatery Closes At Meriden Mall: Report
The family-owned business has closed after more than 24 years at the Meriden Mall.
MERIDEN, CT — Harry’s Eatery has closed after more than 24 years at the Meriden Mall, according to the Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports a lack of shoppers made the business unsustainable for Harry’s Eatery, which was the lone food service shop on the mall’s first floor.
Harry's Eatery is a family-owned food stand that had been at the mall since 2000, according to its website.

“Harry's offers a wide variety of food and drinks,” a post on its website reads. “Hot and cold beverages, protein shakes, strawberry-banana smoothies and frozen latte blended beverage are among the local favorites. Home-made cookies are also a hit. It serves up a variety of sandwiches, muffins and various other baked goods.”
Meriden Economic Development Director Joseph Feest told the Record-Journal that his office is trying to help Harry’s find another location in the city.
