Funeral Director and Embalmer (Last Responder)
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
He is incredibly dedicated and hard working. Works days and nights. Bob has never complained, even when he has worked a full shift (plus), then being called out several times throughout the night to pick up our loved ones. And then returns to work again bright and early with very little sleep without a complaint.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Bob takes incredible pride in ensuring he treats all of our loved ones with dignity and respect. He treats every person as though they were his own family member. All while he is risking his life entering hospitals, convalescent homes etc. Unfortunately due to the nature of this work we have quarantined our household (outside of his work) and been heartbroken missing seeing our young children and families in order to keep them safe.
