Kids' Amusement Center, Eatery Opening At Meriden Mall
Two new additions are coming to Meriden Mall this year, one of which is taking over a previously vacant anchor space.
MERIDEN, CT — Two new businesses are opening at the Meriden Mall: Adventure Palace and Moz Pizza & Grinders, according to mall management.
Adventure Palace has taken over the former Best Buy space, and Moz Pizza & Grinders has taken a food court location.
The Best Buy closed in 2021.

Adventure Palace is a kids and family entertainment venue offering VR gaming, party rooms, slides, and bounce houses.

There is no official opening date, but they plan on being open sometime by the end of summer or early fall of this year.
Moz Pizza & Grinders, which currently has an Enfield Mall store, is opening its second location. There's no opening date yet but mall management said it will open in the next couple of months.
The news is a good sign for the mall, which is owned by Namdar Realty Group and has seen many store closures in recent years. The mall lists 32 stores as still open on its website.
Earlier this month, two closures were announced at the mall: women’s clothing store Windsor and Michael’s Jewelers.

In December, entertainment retailer FYE announced it would be closing many of its locations, including its Meriden Mall store.
