A Newington resident won $234,701 on a FAST PLAY - $10 HIGH ROLLER PROGRESSIVE ticket that was sold at Stop & Shop at 485 Broad St. in Meriden, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
