GROTON, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Prepares meals for children through the Groton Board Of Education Food Services.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Because she could stay home and shelter in place, and collect, but elects to go in and work making hundreds of lunches for children.

She cares.
