Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 8-Year-Old Child: Meriden Police
Police said an arrest warrant was obtained for the man following a "thorough investigation and DNA testing."
MERIDEN, CT — A man is accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old child multiple times, according to police.
The Meriden Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit began investigating a complaint in June 2024 that accused 61-year-old Kenny Holley of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old child on more than one occasion, according to police.
Police said an arrest warrant was obtained for Holley following a “thorough investigation and DNA testing.”

Holley appeared to have fled Connecticut, but police said detectives tracked him to North Carolina, where he lives.
Authorities in North Carolina took him into custody on Oct. 16 and he was extradited back to Connecticut on Oct. 28, according to police.

Holley was arrested and charged with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury / impairing the morals of children. He was held in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
“The Meriden Police Department is wholeheartedly committed to protecting victims of sexual assaults,” police wrote in a news release. “We understand the impact of these crimes, and we partner with agencies to help provide services to the affected victims and their families. It is the policy of the Meriden Police Department to fully investigate every allegation of crimes against victims that are brought to the attention of our organization.”
