MERIDEN, CT — The 2025 municipal election is heating up in Meriden with plenty of races on the ballot.

Voters will cast their ballots in the Nov. 4 election for the position of mayor, along with seats on the City Council and Board of Education.

Why are you seeking this office?
To continue providing a safe educational environment so that our students can achieve their potential.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
a good education for their children. Make the decisions needed to make that happen.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The new Dems running for BoE appear to have a lack of understanding about what it takes to provide a quality education experience for all students.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I want to continue my efforts to support our students in developing their potential and ultimately succeed in their journey to a productive life.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I've been on the board for eight years. I bring 78 years of life experiences to every issue and decision.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Show up at work early, do the best you can and treat everyone like you want to be treated.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I would be grateful for your vote to continue doing what is best for our children to help them succeed in life.
