Meriden Police Officers Clean Woman’s Kitchen After Service Call
The officers noticed the woman's kitchen was in "desperate need of some TLC" and hoped to relieve some of her stress, officials said.
MERIDEN, CT — Two Meriden police officers cleaned a woman’s kitchen from “top to bottom” to help relieve some of her stress on a recent call for service, according to a post on the city’s Facebook page.
Officials said that as Meriden police officers Michael Gentile and Sean Merrill were finishing up the call, they noticed that her kitchen “was in desperate need of some TLC.”
“So, in hopes of relieving some this woman's stress she had been dealing with, for other reasons, they decided to clean the kitchen, top to bottom, including the dishes and floors, before leaving,” reads the post on the City of Meriden Facebook page. “Thank you for genuinely caring for our community officers!”
