New Hartford HealthCare Urgent Care Center Opens In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — A new Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care center opened in Meriden on Tuesday.

The new Meriden center was one of four locations opened by Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth on Tuesday, along with North Haven, Derby and Southington.

The four new locations bring the total number of Hartford Healthcare-GoHealth centers in Connecticut to 33.

"With 33 centers and counting, we continue our mission to provide access to high-quality care when and where people need it,” said Eric Walsh, M.D., medical director, Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth. “Our team is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the best care possible. We look forward to serving these communities and becoming a trusted healthcare resource for every resident."

Meriden now has two Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth centers in the city. The new center is located at 875 East Main St. between Dunkin' and Wendy's.

The new Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth centers offer treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services and diagnostic testing. They are open 365 days a year, including holidays, with regular hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

The centers also offer patients a direct connection to the Hartford HealthCare network.
