Obituary: Kristan Nicole Anziano, 31, formerly of Meriden
Kristan, known for her infectious laugh and bubbly personality, loved working with children and was an office clerk for Napoli Foods.
MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Kristan Nicole Anziano, 31, of New Britain, formerly of Meriden, fiancé of Andrzej Wiktorek, passed away unexpectedly January 21, 2022 at her home.
Kristan was born in Meriden on May 20, 1990, a daughter of Gerald Anziano and the late Deborah (Marhevka) Anziano.
She attended Platt High School in Meriden, where she graduated in 2008. She worked as an office clerk for Napoli Foods Inc., but her real passion was working with children.
Kristan loved fishing with her dad, having campfires with her sisters, and going on many adventures with her fiancé.
She was an amazing person whose infectious laugh and bubbly personality touched many lives.
In addition to her fiancé and father, she is survived by her step-mother, Mary Rys; her step-sisters, Aimee Penna and Kim Rys; her step-brother, Robert Rys Jr.; her maternal grandmother, Marie Donlon; her uncle, James Marhevka Sr; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kristan’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 9 am until 11 am.
A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home.
Interment in St. John Cemetery will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11 am.
