Report: Meriden College Student 'Crossed Paths' With Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect

As authorities continued to search for 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on Friday, stories about the suspect's past began to surface.

Meriden resident Brian Wilson attended college with Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 19-year-old man now at the center of a region wide manhunt, according to the Meriden Record Journal.

The paper reports that the two had attended UMass Dartmouth together. The school was evacuated Friday as police continued to search for Tsarnaev.

“I remembered his face when I saw it on TV,” Wilson told reporters. “I have a friend who played soccer with him. It’s very scary. It’s shocking. You never know when, who or where it’s going to happen.”
