WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Maternity Nurse at UCONN

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She is an amazing nurse. She is supportive, caring and loving. And would do just about anything for anybody. She is always there when needed. She works overnights and then comes home to help with distant learning.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She's an incredible person and mentor and someone to look up to. She has a heart of gold.
