3 Promoted To Sergeant, 1 promoted to Lieutenant: Middletown PD

The promotion of the four Middletown Police Department members took place on Aug. 30.

The four members promoted were Sergeant Aura Smith to the rank of Lieutenant, Officer Michael Thompson to the rank of Sergeant, Detective Emilio Magnano to the rank of Sergeant and Officer Kyle Pixley to the rank of Sergeant.

MIDDLETOWN, CT – Four Middletown Police Department members received a promotion on Wednesday, Aug. 30, Middletown Police Department announced.

Each of the four individuals underwent a rigorous testing process and are veteran members of the police department, police said.

Mayor Ben Florsheim promoted the four members of the Middletown Police Department on Aug. 30.
