Boston's Exuberant Swing Legacy Coming to Middletown

The Swing Legacy will be in Middletown tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, Sept. 29, at 3:00 p.m. in the MHS Performing Arts Center, 200 LaRosa Lane, off 680 Newfield St., Middletown.
The band's six instrumentalists play piano, bass, trumpet, tenor sax, clarinet, flute, alto sax, baritone sax and drums, performing with one of Boston’s premier jazz vocalists, Debby Larkin.
This swing septet from Boston manages to sound like a big swing band, by virtue of their exciting original arrangements, impeccable musicianship, and powerful swinging beat.

They combine polish with exuberance, and they swing hard! They will sample their fascinating repertoire, which concentrates on classic big-band swing music – Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Fats Waller and other swing notables.
