MIDDLETOWN, CT — Two teens are facing multiple criminal charges in connection with a stolen vehicle case in Connecticut.

Robert Johnson, 19, of Bristol, was charged with the use of a machine gun for aggressive purposes, violating a protective order, larceny of a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Julien Hickson, 19, of Meriden, was charged with the use of a machine gun for aggressive purposes, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, carrying a pistol without a permit and interfering with police.

The Middletown portion of the case dates back to Dec. 4, when a stolen vehicle track made its way from Berlin into Middletown. A dog track was also involved after Hickson and Johnson exited a vehicle, according to a warrant.

A search of one vehicle prior to it being seized uncovered a gun and a high-capacity Magazine in a backpack, according to a warrant.
