Animal Lovers' Triple Play: Catwalk, Pints For Paws, and Rabies / Microchipping Clinic

Saturday is an animal lovers' dream in Middletown as three events to benefit cats and dogs take place throughout the city.

  • The 2013 Catwalk Fundraising walk-a-thon/run for Catales, a non-profit devoted to helping homeless cats and kittens, begins a 9 a.m. at Middlesex Community College, 100 Training Hill Road. The walk begins at 10 a.m. (2.2 mile walk and 3.1 mile run). To register, click here or just stop by.
  • Beginning at noon, Running for Rescues is hosting Pints for Paws at at Iguanas Ranas Taqueira on Main Street with $5 pints courtesy of City Steam & Lagunitas Breweries. There will be special pint glasses also for purchase. Help save shelter pets around the country by buying a pint.
