Hillary Clinton Coming To Middletown
The former first lady and presidential candidate is releasing a memoir about one of the most tumultuous campaigns in U.S. history.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Hillary Clinton is coming to Middletown for one of two book signings in the state in September, according to her website. The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee will be signing copies of her memoir "What Happened," on Oct. 21 at the the Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore located at 413 Main Street.
The event begins at 2 p.m.. She will also be appearing in Brookfield at the Costco on Federal Road at noon on Sept. 16. Attendees will need a ticket to the event, which costs $30.
As of Tuesday, The former first lady and U.S. Senator will host 10 book signings across the Northeast and 15 Hillary Clinton Live events in the U.S. and Canada. More events are expected to be announced.

Clinton, who fell to Donald Trump in the 2016 election after being tabbed as a heavy favorite, has stated she is "letting her guard down" in her memoir on the campaign. The memoir is due to hit stores on Sept. 12.
The book's description says Clinton will take the reader inside "an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules."
