Inaugural Q Williams Taste Of Middletown Set For October
To honor Q Williams' legacy, The Connection is bringing Middletown's most renounced restaurants, food trucks, bakeries and breweries.

MIDDLETOWN, CT – Middletown is celebrating the vibrant culinary scene in memory of esteemed community leader Quentin “Q” Williams through the inaugural Q Williams Taste of Middletown.
The Connection, a non-profit providing unique solutions to the problems of homelessness, mental health illness, substance use and community justice rehabilitation, and its community partners have announced the inaugural Q Williams Taste of Middletown will kick off on Oct. 12 at the historic Wadsworth Mansion, 421 Wadsworth St.
"The Taste of Middletown is more than just a culinary event; it’s a celebration of community and togetherness,” Brian Thomas, said Director of Development at The Connection. “Q Williams left an indelible mark on our city, and this event is a heartfelt tribute to his memory and dedication to the people that make this city great.”

VIPs will get early access to food, drinks and commemorative items at 5 p.m., and general admission will begin at 6 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets for the Q Williams Taste of Middletown.
The Connection said as the visionary founder of the Taste of Middletown, Q Williams cherished the diverse flavors Middletown has to offer, and his legacy lives on through the extraordinary event.

To honor Q Williams’ legacy, The Connection is bringing Middletown’s most renowned restaurant, food trucks, bakeries and breweries, live entertainment and a silent auction.
All proceeds from the event will benefit The Connection and The Q Fund at the Community Foundation of Middlesex County, supporting the causes Q cared most about education, housing and racial justice.
The Connection said sponsorship options start at $250, with increased branding benefits at every level.
Community partners for the event are the City of Middletown, Community Foundation of Middlesex County, Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, Middletown Downtown Business District, Wesleyan University, Middlesex Health, Community Health Center of Middletown, Brown and Brown Insurance of Connecticut.
