MIDDLETOWN, CT — An 11-year-old Middletown boy’s Make-A-Wish came true during a surprise reveal celebration last week.
Mattix, who is living with a nervous system disorder, wished for one thing – to have an endless amount of outdoor gear so he can spend more time enjoying the outdoors.
Mattix was surprised by Duracell and Make-A-Wish on Wednesday, Sept. 14 with a wish-granting celebration at the new Make-A-Wish CT headquarters, “The Wishing Place.” His wish was revealed through a scavenger hunt that led to his new outdoor gear.
