Middlesex Hospital Has WIC Nutrition Program

The special supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants and Children is available to the community through the Middlesex Hospital Family Advocacy Program.

WIC serves to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants and children up to age five who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating and referrals to health care.

Eligibility for the WIC program is based on income guidelines established by the federal government. For example, a family of four with a gross annual income (before taxes) of $43,568 would be eligible for the program.
