Middletown Approves Budget for Fiscal Year 2016-17

MIDDLETOWN--The Middletown Common Council approved a $152.8 million budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

According to The Middletown Press, the council approved the Fiscal Year 2017 budget on Friday, approving $80.3 for Middletown schools.

City residents will face a mill rate increase of .7, with the new budget setting the rate at 33.3, The Middletown Press reports.
