Middletown Arrests: Aug. 15-16

Middletown Police report the following incidents:

Aug. 16

SECOND-DEGREE HARASSMENT — At 8 a.m., Brian S. Bassett, 52, of Pleasant Street turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for a domestic incident.

Aug. 15

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — At 8:30 p.m., police were called to a home on Portland Street about Donald Little, 45 of Union Street, who was arguing with his minor daughter. The report says the girl refused to turn the television volume down, which angered Little, who told officers she doesn't listen and he receives little support from her mother. When the girl tried to push her way past the doorway Little was blocking, the report details, he pinned her to the clothes dryer by her shoulder/neck, which caused her neck to be scratched.
