Middletown To Have First-In-State Memorial For Disabled Vets
Middletown memorial will be the first of its kind in Connecticut.

Middletown, CT - Soon, Middletown will have the state's first memorial dedicated to disabled veterans.
According to a report in The Middletown Press, the city's disabled veterans group is fundraising to build the memorial on Veteran's Green.
For the past six months, Middletown’s Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7 has been fundraising for The Disabled Americans Veterans for Life Memorial, The Press reports.

To date, the group has raised $40,000 for the $42,000 three-piece, stone memorial, according to the press. That cost does not include installation.
