Middletown Man Dies in Accident on I-91
The accident occurred on I-91 near the Cromwell/Rocky Hill line on Thursday, March 3.
A Thursday, March 3, accident claimed the life of a 25-year-old man from Middletown.
According to the Hartford Courant, Jemel Williams was driving a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle when he reportedly lost control and hit a vehicle in the highway’s center lane.
The car traveled off the highway and struck a tree. Williams was declared deceased at the scene and passenger Brandon Stewart was taken to Hartford Hospital by Life Star.
He is in critical condition. The driver of a second vehicle involved in the accident reportedly did not sustain any injuries.
