Middletown schools will be getting an increase in state aid.

MIDDLETOWN--Middletown public schools are receiving a boost in state funding.
The town is receiving an extra $2.1 million in aid from the state, according to The Middletown Press.
On Tuesday, the Board of Education met to discuss the one-time, $2.1 million payment and how to appropriate it for the upcoming fiscal year, The Press reports.
