A home in Middletown was wrecked by fire early Monday morning

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A home in Middletown was wrecked by fire early Monday morning.
Westfield Fire Department officials said they received a report of a fire at 310 Meetinghouse Lane at 4:25 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, fire crews found heavy flames on three floors, officials said.
The fire was quickly knocked down, officials said. A fire alarm system alerted everyone inside, and all occupants were able to evacuate the building unharmed, officials said.

Crews were still at the scene well into the morning hours.
No firefighter injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire official issued the following directive:
As of 9:45 am: any residents of Burgundy Hill Studios should contact the Westfield Fire Marshal’s Office for information related to the investigation or necessary for renter’s insurance claims.
The City of Middletown Health Department should be contacted for temporary relocation assistance.
Property management for Burgundy Hill Studios should be contacted for information regarding when power is restored, repairs to doors or water damage, and when it is permitted to return to living in various units.
