Obituary: Denise Anne (Bolduc) Levy, 63, of Middletown
Denise enjoyed a long, dedicated career in the nursing field. She loved gardening, baking, traveling and spending time with loved ones.
MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Doolittle Funeral Home) Denise Anne (Bolduc) Levy, 63, of Middletown, CT, died peacefully with her husband by her side on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, following a valiant battle with cancer.
She is survived by her mother Fernande Bolduc, loving husband of 37 years Scott, her daughter Nicole and her husband JR Zacotinsky of Carmel, NY, her granddaughters Sloane and Harley Zacotinsky, her son Gordon Levy and his significant other Emma Loso of Oakdale, CT; her brother Paul (Denise) Bolduc of Royalston, MA, sisters Diane Bolduc of Northbridge, MA, and Lisa (Andy) Ochs of St. Johns, FL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as many other dear family and friends.
Denise was born September 16, 1958 in Worcester, MA to Claude and Fernande Bolduc. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northeastern which provided her a long and meaningful career in the field, which touched the lives of so many.
In addition to spending time with friends and family, Denise loved gardening, baking and traveling. All these things were gifts that were passed onto so many family members and friends.
Denise had no greater joy than showing the people she loved them, with baked goods, especially children whether it be cookies with her granddaughters or bear bread challah with her great nephews, for baking is fun and delicious and calorie free with kids.
Funeral services for Denise will be held at Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue, 8 Broad Street, Middletown, at 2:30 PM, Thursday, February 3, followed by burial in the Adath Israel Cemetery on Pine Street in Middletown.
All who have been vaccinated, show no symptoms, and are willing to wear a mask throughout the service are invited to join us in person. The service will be shared via a synagogue Zoom link for those who wish to join us from a distance.
