Obituary: Hanna (Selke) Krysz, 66, of Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT - (From Biega Funeral Home) Hanna (Selke) Krysz, 66, of Middletown, died Monday January 17, 2022 at Gran View Health & Rehabilitation, New Britain.

Hanna was born in Lipno, Poland, daughter of the late, Aleksander and Alma (Tomm) Selke. Hanna worked in food services for many years both with Elmcrest Hospital and Aetna Insurance.

Hanna is survived by a sister Wanda Szymanski and her husband Wieslaw of New Britain, a brother Arthur Selke of East Hampton, a brother-in-law, Jan Trzcinski of Middletown, a cousin, Ryszard Blechert and his wife Emily and many nieces and nephews.

Hanna was predeceased by a son, Ryszard Krysz, a sister, Maria Trzcinski, and two brothers, Rajmund Selke and Jan Selke and sister-in-law Helene Selke.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street Middletown. Friends may gather prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery.
