Report: City Man OK After Car Hits Tree in Middlefield

A city man was taken to Hartford Hospital by Life Star early Friday after the Jeep he was driving crashed into a tree on Cider Mill Road in Middlefield, according to the Middletown Press.
Jeffery Fagan of Middletown, 30, was taken as a precautionary measure, the Press reports, because of the nature of the accident, but hospital staff deemed him free of injuries.
He was driving a Jeep Cherokee about 1:15 a.m. when he went off the left side of the road and struck a tree in the front yard of 76 Cider Mill Road, a tenth of a mile east of Main Street, CTNow reports.
