Salvation Army Seeks Volunteers for Holiday Kettle Bell Ringing Drive

This year, the Salvation Army is looking for individuals and groups willing to donate a few hours to ring the bell during its annual Christmas Bell Ringing Kettle Campaign at one of five locations throughout Middletown.

"Because of our financial situation, we are unable to hire paid volunteers. So we are hoping if we reach out into the community that we could get individuals or churches or groups to lend a hand."
There are between five and six locations where volunteers are needed to ring the bells in Middletown and Cromwell for at least eight hours per day.

With the Thanksgiving holiday falling later in the month than usual, this year’s Red Kettle Campaign is more critical than ever.
