Shooting Incident Leaves Person In Critical Condition: Middletown PD

Middletown Police Department responded to the report of a shooting on Friday morning.

MIDDLETOWN, CT – Middletown authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person in critical condition, police said.

On Friday, July 28, around 7:10 a.m., Middletown Police Department responded to the 700 block of Congdon Street West to investigate the report of a shooting victim who is not a resident of Middletown, police said.

Medical aid was rendered, and the victim was transported to Hartford Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is listed in critical condition, police said.

Police were unable to locate a crime scene, and the victim has been unable to provide any information about the incident, police said.
