Bertrand E. Spencer Elementary School fifth-grader Amanda Prevatte, 10, was among several grade schoolers who were promoted Wednesday to middle schoolers.
Most will go on to attend Keigwin Elementary School in Middletown as sixth-graders. Amanda, 10, will go to Thomas Edison Middle School in Meriden. She is the sister of Middletown High School rising senior Billy M. Prevatte.
