Students Start Petition To Keep Longtime Teacher at Vinal Tech
The teacher is being transferred to a school in Manchester.
Middletown, CT - Students at Vinal Tech High School in Middletown are not pleased with the district's decision to transfer a veteran teacher and they've started a petition to keep her.
The high schoolers gathered close to 600 signatures on their petition to keep 26-year-teacher Deborah Luster, according to The Middletown Press.
The science teacher, who will retire in two years, will transfer to Howell Cheney Technical High School in Manchester, The Middletown Press reports.
