Car Catches Fire On Route 15: Milford Fire Dept.

MILFORD, CT — A car caught on fire early Monday Morning, Adam Hansen, Milford Fire Department PIO, said.

On Monday, Nov. 20, around 12:51 a.m. Milford Emergency Operations Center (EOC) received a 911 call for a report of a car fire on Route 15 North Bound, Hansen said.

When fire crews arrived, they found a passenger-style vehicle well involved in a fire in front of Exit 54, Hansen said.

Fire crews worked to extinguish the fire quickly, and the vehicle was overhauled, Hansen said.

No injuries were sustained or reported, and fire crews picked up all their equipment and made it safely off the roadway, Hansen said.
