9-term alderman in Milford

Why are you seeking this office?

To foster a “common sense" approach to government. Focusing on fiscal responsibility, ensuring that the city's budget is balanced, that spending is efficient, and that taxpayer money isn't wasted. Also, ensuring that public funds are used on essential services that benefit the community.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

• Prioritizing Needs over wants

• Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency
• Long-Term Planning
• Listening to Residents
I believe in open and honest government. I've been in the minority on a number of key votes, but I have consistently pushed for more transparency in our budget process, demanding that residents have a clearer view of how their money is being used. The opposition has supported a process that, frankly, can be difficult for residents to understand and influence.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

The majority party is opposed to lowering taxes. While the majority party talks about lowering taxes, their actions have not matched their rhetoric. They've had the power to make a difference, but they have consistently failed to deliver on that promise. Their actions are a far cry from the 'common sense' form of government that the citizens of Milford deserve.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

My dedication to our city isn't just a campaign promise—it's a record of action. For years, I have served on various community boards and commissions, where I've gained a deep understanding and first hand appreciation for the challenges we face. This experience is what sets me apart from my opponents. This isn't just a list of my accomplishments; it's a testament to my belief that effective government starts with a dedicated and experienced public servant. I’ve already done the hard work, and I am ready to continue fighting for a city that works for all of us.
