Have you ever held a public office before?
I am currently a Constable for the City of Milford and have served in this position for 10 years, having won five citywide elections.
Why are you seeking this office?
Milford is a truly special place. Having lived here my whole life, I’ve witnessed how our city has grown and changed over the years. What makes Milford unique is not just its natural beauty, but also the strength of our community. That’s why I believe it’s so important to support our neighbors, protect our environment, and ensure a balance of affordable housing.
At the same time, we must do this in a thoughtful way one that preserves the character and charm of our “Gem of a City” for generations to come. Our goal should be to keep Milford affordable, welcoming, and vibrant, so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy all that our community has to offer.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Overdevelopment. I intend to represent the neighbors in my district while working with developers to ensure growth remains reasonable, sustainable, and affordable. I will encourage property owners and developers to consider the character and needs of the communities they are building in, so development benefits both residents and future generations.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I represent a new generation of moderate young people who believe that community, environmental sustainability, and affordability should guide the future development of our city.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I plan to be highly approachable, ensuring that all citizens in my district can call, email, or reach out to share their concerns and work toward a compromise. I support people over politics.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Over the last 20 years, I have managed both a large corporation and a small business, and I have also contributed to numerous volunteer organizations. These experiences have taught me the importance of listening truly hearing others allows me to find common ground and work toward solutions that make sense for everyone. Having collaborated with people from all walks of life, I have learned that listening is the key to building understanding and achieving reasonable, lasting solutions.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Be slow to speak, Quick to listen.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I truly enjoy being part of this community, and I am deeply grateful for all my supporters, Democrats, Republicans, and the many unaffiliated voters who, like me, are tired of the hate, division, and retaliatory politics in our country.
