Elderly Person Trapped Inside Car Rescued In Milford
Fire crews had to cut down some brush as well as a fence to gain access to the patient, fire officials said.

MILFORD, CT — Firefighters rescued an elderly person who was trapped inside a vehicle on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
At 3:04 p.m. Thursday, the Milford Emergency Center received several 911 calls of a motor vehicle that had driven into the woods in the area of 185 Marino Dr. with an elderly person still trapped inside.
"This was at the same time that the students from the Orchards School were being released," fire officials said.

Fire crews had to cut down some brush as well as a fence to gain access to the patient, fire officials said.
"Based on their assessment this individual had to be extricated out of the backside of the vehicle and was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. No other vehicles and/ or any other injuries were reported during this incident," fire officials said.
