Elizabeth “Betty” A. Ofiero, 95, of Milford, passed away on December 26, 2025
Elizabeth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother whose life was defined by love, kindness, and devotion to her family.

Elizabeth “Betty” A. Ofiero, 95, of Milford, beloved wife of 45 years to the late Frank A. Ofiero, passed away on December 26, 2025. Born on February 12, 1930 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Troy) Avalos.
Elizabeth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was defined by love, kindness, and devotion to her family. A proud graduate of Stamford High School in 1948, she carried her strong values throughout her life, sharing them generously with everyone around her. Elizabeth was known for her great sense of humor, deep compassion, and gentle spirit, always making others feel welcome and cared for. Her home was the heart of the family, especially on Sundays, when she lovingly prepared dinners that brought generations together and created cherished memories that will live on forever.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Frank (Angelica) Ofiero, Jr., Dolores (Alan) Natale, and Joyce (former husband Bill) Evans; grandchildren, Angela, Johanna, and Andrew Correa, Jeffrey (Jeanette) Natale, Jennifer (former husband Vinny) Toscano, and Bryan, Elizabeth “Abby”, Timothy and Molly Evans; great grandchildren, Giada, Carina, Alana, Frankie, Krish, and Avi; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Elizabeth was also predeceased by her brother, Bill Avalos.

Friends and family may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026 with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. Interment will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at King’s Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry Street, Milford (All meet at cemetery). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org.
