UPDATE: Milford Friendly’s Closes With No Warning; Phone Shut Off
Sign in window tells restaurant fans to go to North Haven Friendly's instead.
MILFORD, CT - Fans of Friendly's Restaurant in Milford were shocked Friday when they found their favorite restaurant was closed when they came up to the restaurant.
A sign at the restaurant door on the Boston Post Road said the Friendly's was closed - and directed people to go to the restaurant's North Haven location if they wanted to Friendly's food and/or ice cream.
No further explanation was given.

A call to the restaurant on Friday night said the phone was no longer in service or had been disconnected.
A follow-up call Saturday morning got the same response.

A phone call to Friendly’s corporate offices by Patch was not returned.
A check of the Milford Friendly’s Facebook page has no mention of the closing.
There is also no mention of the closing on the Friendly’s North Haven Facebook page.
