Intoxicated Driver Assaulted Passenger: Milford PD

MILFORD, CT — A Stratford man was charged after he assaulted his passenger while driving intoxicated, according to police.

Jacob Kitchner, 21, was pulled over Feb. 9 and officers determined he was intoxicated, police said. Kitchner's passenger was distraught and said that Kitchner had assaulted her.

The vehicle's front console was also damaged, police said.

Kitchner was charged with driving under the influence, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $25,500.
