Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Stephen Dincher: Since January 2022.
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Stephen Dincher: I love people. Helping people live their best lives by providing the best possible eyecare with fashionable eyewear is what keeps me in this profession. I especially like treating dry eye disease and fitting scleral contacts because for many of those patients, the treatments are truly life-changing.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Stephen Dincher: Take care of your eyes with annual eye exams and prompt attention to any vision loss or pain. You only get two and there's no replacing them.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Stephen Dincher: Treating dry eye disease and fitting scleral lenses. For many patients, the dry eyes are intolerable and I can help bring them relief and give them their eyes back. For those with keratoconus and other corneal abnormalities, they may not have seen clearly in many years, even decades. With scleral lenses, they usually can see clearly again for what feels like the first time. It's a blessing to be able to help my patients with these significant problems be able to live life more fully again.
Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Stephen Dincher: Our casual, relaxed atmosphere and up to date technology. Our staff and patients are like old friends and we always strive to give the best care to every patient.
