Man Charged With Assault, Threatening, Motor Vehicle Theft In Milford, Police Say
A man is facing a litany of charges after he was arrested over the weekend in Milford, police say.

MILFORD, CT — A man was charged with several crimes following an assault and motor vehicle theft in Milford, according to police.
Police responded to a report of an assault Saturday at 4:18 a.m. When they arrived, the suspect was not longer at the scene of the crime.
Police later found the suspect and arrested him.

The 28-year-old Waterbury man is accused of assaulting and threatening the victim, then stealing the victim's car to flee.
Police also held other warrants for the man's arrest in similar incidents.

He was charged with three counts of violation of probation, three counts of third-degree assault, two counts of disorderly conduct, second-degree breach of peace, third-degree larceny of a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, third-degree robbery, and second-degree threatening.
He was held on $100,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
