Milford Eateries Among 'Best Restaurants 2022': CT Magazine
A number of Milford restaurants are among the best in the state, Connecticut Magazine readers and experts have decided.
MILFORD, CT — Connecticut Magazine has announced its picks for "Best Restaurants: 2022," and several Milford eateries made the cut.
Milford's Strega was among 14 restaurants picked by "experts" in the Overall Excellence category, and the experts also chose Don Rene Taqueria as among the best New Restaurants (eateries that opened since the start of 2020).
Connecticut Magazine readers also had a say in the picks, and they chose Archie Moore's Bar and Restaurant as the best "Traditional American" restaurant in New Haven County.

Milford restaurants also made the "Experts' Picks" lists in categories such as Chinese, Breakfast and Appetizers, and three were included on the "Hidden Gem" list.
Magazine readers voted online throughout September and October 2021, and they chose up to three restaurants in order of preference in each category. Restaurants were limited to a maximum of four Readers' Choice wins.

After the votes were tallied, the magazine's "panel of experts" recommended "additional places in each category which they believe deserve recognition," officials said, which rounded out the picks.
