Milford Elementary School Principal Honored By State PTA
An elementary school principal with over two decades of service in Milford is being recognized by a statewide organization.
MILFORD, CT — The Connecticut PTA is recognizing Orchard Hills Elementary School Principal Sarah Scionti. She was named 2025 Elementary Principal of the Year, according to the organization's website.
There will be a brunch honoring the winners at La Bella Vista in Waterbury on May 4.
Milford Superintendent Anna Cutaia said: "We are grateful for Mrs. Scionti's unwavering dedication to our learning community. Her hard work and passion make a lasting impact every day, and we’re thrilled to see her receiving this honor."

Teachers and students organized a surprise recognition ceremony for Scionti last week, according to an Instagram post from the city.
Scionti has been an educator in Milford for over two decades. She "has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication to the Orchard Hills team," according to the city's post.
