The Milford Oyster Festival After Dark

The Milford Oyster Festival After Dark , sponsored by
Xfinity, will feature two evenings of music and
FUN on Friday, August 15, 2025 and Saturday,
August 16, 2025 from 5pm to 10pm at Fowler
Field in downtown Milford, Connecticut.

On Friday evening the Festival welcomes
Backstage Pass, a high energy tribute band that

recreates the concert experience of an arena
style 80’s rock show with HAIR, LIGHTS,
MARSHALL STACKS, SMOKE, SHREDDING
GUITARS, BIG DRUMS, THUNDERING BASS,
and harmonizing vocals performing the greatest
80’s anthems from Bon Jovi, Poison, Guns &
Roses, Motley Crue, Loverboy, Ratt, Van Halen
just to list a few! Backstage Pass carries you
away to the greatest decade of music and
delivers an arena rock n’ roll show that will have
you cheering for encore after encore.

Opening for Backstage Pass is Milford’s own
School of Rock. Check out Milford’s talented
young musicians as they perform on stage.

On Saturday evening the Festival is excited
announce Almost Queen will be the headlining
band. Almost Queen transports you back in time
to experience the magic and essence of Queen
themselves.

Almost Queen’s concerts are a true testament to
the band’s love for Queen’s music. Fans often
travel long distances just to experience Almost

Queen’s carefully curated setlist featuring
Queen’s best-loved songs, like Somebody to
Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, Fat Bottomed Girls,
and Radio Ga Ga. And of course, no Queen
tribute concert would be complete without
classics like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock
You, and We Are the Champions!

Almost Queen’s impressive tribute to Queen is
nothing short of breathtaking. The band’s
authenticity shines through in their impeccable
attention to detail and genuine costumes, while
their live energy and precision will leave music
fans of all ages with an unforgettable concert
experience. Almost Queen’s concerts are a true
testament to the band’s love for Queen’s music.

Opening for Almost Queen will be Philadelphia
Freedom: A Tribute to Elton John and is one of
the ULTIMATE and most REALISTIC Elton John
tribute currently touring. The band is always full of
joy and unlimited energy, “Crocodile Rock”in’
through all the hits of Elton’s career. Doug
Delescavage is Elton John as he was in his 20s.
Owning the stage with his inventive fashion

sense, awe-inspiring piano abilities, and
captivating voice, Doug rivals no one but Mr.
Captain Fantastic himself.

Warming up the stage for these great bands will
be Dave & Chrissy, a local duo playing acoustic
music.

The Festival will also feature locally sourced
oysters from Milford’s own Briarpatch Shellfish
Company, great food and beverages including
beer, wine ,hard seltzers and canned cocktails. The fun continues
with amusement rides including $35.00
wristbands per day.

Festival admission is $8.00 per night. Children
age 13 and under are free and must be
accompanied by an adult.
