Milford Police Conducts Graduation Honoring 33 New Officers
The graduation was held on Monday, May 18.

The Milford Police Department conducted graduation exercises honoring the graduates of the 2015 session of the Milford Police Academy on Monday, May 18.
The program honored a total of 33 Officers who represented 14 municipalities, including Milford, Berlin, East Haven, New Milford, Norwalk, Seymour, Wallingford, Orange, Fairfield, Hamden, Madison, Redding, Stratford and Torrington Police Departments.
The 2015 Milford Police Academy session included 26 weeks of training in a variety of topic areas.

Several awards were given to the graduates based on academics, commitment and achievements including three distinct awards; the Daniel Scott Wasson Award, the Arnold Markle Memorial Award and the Samuel Luciano Award.
The graduation ceremony was held at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium – Parsons Government Center located at 70 West River St. in Milford.

On behalf of Milford Police Chief Keith L. Mello, the Milford Police Department said they would like to welcome these new Officers to Law Enforcement.
