Milford Recreation Department’s Presents 'Pine Forest Nutcracker'

Milford Rec's Little Wing Adaptive Ballet Company will perform 'Pine Forest Nutcracker' December 16.

MILFORD, CT – The Milford Recreation Department is proud to announce its performance of the Pine Forest Nutcracker, featuring the Little Wing Adaptive Ballet Company. This show will bring a holiday tradition to life on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Parsons Complex Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium, 70 West River Street, Milford, CT.

This performance is more than just a reenactment of Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet. The Pine Forest Nutcracker is a culmination of months of rehearsals with Little Wing students, all of whom have special needs. Over the last 12 weeks, mentor dancers have paired with Little Wing students; teaching them ballet and helping them learn the story and choreography of this legendary performance.
