Milford Woman 'The Best Mom And Mimi Any Family Could Wish For'

MILFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mother selflessly brought me into this world and has given my sister and I the world. She always said a parents' greatest gift is giving their children the opportunities to thrive. When she saw a talent in us for swimming, she made sure every opportunity for us to thrive was attainable and that included practices before school at 4:30 a.m. and after school 45 minutes away. We traveled the world while she worked tirelessly to make sure we never missed the opportunities we had. This includes our college educations and post degrees! Never a question that anything came our way we would ever have to turn it down. This extends to her beloved four grandchildren that she showers with love and time. Never a question when the grandkids are sick and the parents have to work… we always know Mimi will come to the rescue! The best mom and Mimi any family could wish for.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Her selflessness. She is a mother and Mimi first and foremost. We hope she knows how much she is appreciated!
