Motorcyclist Crashes, 2 Milford Employees Rush To Provide Assistance

Mayor Richard Smith recognized two City of Milford Department of Public Works employees, Matt Davidson and Brian Gilronan, for their life-saving efforts during a motorcycle accident on May 22, 2023.

Matt and Brian were working in the Walnut Beach area when they witnessed a young man fall off his motorcycle and they immediately sprang into action to aid the young man until emergency personnel arrived. The quick actions of Matt and Brian likely averted a tragedy and saved a young man’s life.

Mayor Smith issued a proclamation on behalf of the city to recognize and thank Matt and Brian for stepping up during a critical situation. Brian and Matt are part of a team of city employees who always rise to the occasion to better our community.
