New Parking Details Released For Milford Oyster Festival
Milford Oyster Festival organizers said they received approval for a new parking area.

MILFORD, CT – As the 49th Milford Oyster Festival approaches, event organizers have announced parking updates for the popular event.
The 49th Milford Oyster Festival is set for Saturday, August 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Downtown Milford. The headliner for this year's Milford Oyster Festival will be Lou Gramm, a founding member of Foreigner.
The new parking location for attendees will be at Platt Technical High School, 600 Orange Ave, this year.

A shuttle will stop at Platt Tech High School and Jonathan Law High School, 20 Landsdale Ave.
This year there is no parking at the Connecticut Post Mall.

The free shuttle service will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue to 7 p.m.
The best option is the train for those who want to attend the Milford Oyster Festival from different locations. The Stratford and West Haven Metro Station has ample parking, clean and new facilities and is minutes away from the Milford Metro Station.
Preferred parking is available for those who want to park a little closer to the main event.
Preferred parking is one block from the Oyster Festival at 145 High Street and 57 Main Street at the Parson’s Building, where limited spaces will be $10. The parking lot can only be accessed by taking West Main Street to High Street or Jepson Drive to High Street.
Proceeds from the parking lot spaces will go to benefit the Foran High School Band.
Handicapped Parking is available at Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Dr., Harborside Middle School, 175 High St., and Wasson Field Parking Lot, 54 West Main St.
Senior and handicapped shuttle buses will be available to transport senior and handicapped guests to the festival from these locations. The shuttle drops off at the Milford Fire Department and will also pick up at this location to return passengers to the senior/handicapped parking locations.
The Milford Oyster Festival Senior and Handicapped Shuttle Bus will allow passengers all the time they need to board and disembark the shuttle bus comfortably.
